The Sims 4: Get Together

I'm a huge The Sims fan and have been playing the game since the beginning. I especially love expansions so, when Get Together was released, I looked forward to when I'd be able to buy it.

As it says on TheSims.com website, "Create and join Clubs with distinct interests, personalities, and styles where you can set the rules, define their look, and customize their hangouts. Get together with other Sims for exciting group activities and live it up in the beautiful new World of Windenburg!" and boy, if it's true!

There's plenty of extremely informative guides on the web, if you want to "study before you try it". You can learn all about the clubs and the perks, the hangout spots, the other new features... However, if you're like me and like to go explore by yourself, you'll certainly have fun doing so. I haven't learned everything there is to know yet, and neither have I gone exploring all the locations and the pubs and clubs. Isn't it more fun to discover things on your own?

I haven't played that long yet, but I would like to share with you some of my gameplay highlights I particularly enjoyed.

Dance Battle: I made the older daughter join the Spin Masters club because she loves to dance. One of the thing you can do—after she gained a bit of skill—is challenge another sim to a dance-off. You can either challenge one of the other members in your club or family/friends, but the outcome is nevertheless hilarious. The sim with more skills will do amazing things, leaving the other to laugh it off at their own "defeat".

Group Dance: Another awesome thing from this club is the group dance. By clicking on the dance floor and selecting this option, you can choose a number of dances that will leave you flabbergasted. And let me also point out, how cool is the DJ booth with the fog effect!

Woohoo in the closet: The closet is a great and versatile addition to this expansion pack. Sims can try on clothes, and perform a number of regular actions we're already familiar with. Sad sims can go "cry it out" in the closet, and flirty sims can make out, wohoo and even have babies in the closet. I'll leave you guys hanging to what happens to the closet in these heated moments of passion...

As you can see, there's plenty of fun and things to do in The Sims 4: Get Together*. If you love and have loved The Sims franchise so far, this expansion pack will surely not disappoint you!
