Mini Pizza Bites

I've been going through some kind of funk and haven't been inspired to cook that much (besides the vital meals, of course). Recently, though, with Facebook showing what other people like in my dashboard, I stumbled across a very cool page called Tasty, They share tons of interesting recipes, both as video and links, and one of them caught my attention. And this is how my MINI PIZZA BITES came to be!

Anime Review: Another

I'm a big fan of Anime/Manga, as you may already know, and I wanted to share my thoughts on an anime I recently watched.

Image: Another/P.A. Works

*Another*

In 1972, a very popular honor student named Misaki died partway through the school year in Yomiyama North Middle School's class 3-3. The rest of the students, devastated by the unexpected loss, decided to carry on as if their classmate were still alive, going so far as to keep the desk in place and bringing it to the graduation ceremony. Yet no one could explain why their classmate, already dead and buried, was present on the graduation photo. Then, in the spring of 1998, a boy named Kouichi Sakakibara transfers to the class, and begins to grow suspicious of the fearful atmosphere permeating the class. In particular, he becomes fascinated with a mysterious, aloof girl with an eye patch who always sits alone, drawing pictures. A girl the rest of the class refuses to acknowledge. A girl named Misaki.

Lit-Cube UnBoxing: Anniversary of the Dragon

One thing I've always wanted to try was a subscription box so, when Lit-Cube (a monthly subscription box for readers) shared the news that in April they were going to celebrate in style with an "Anniversary of the Dragon" theme, I really couldn't resist. After all, I celebrated my birthday in April, I was allowed to get a special gift, right? ;)

The Depiction of Women in Video Games - Kettle Article

Today I'm sharing with you another article from Kettle (published on April 19th), one that I recently wrote. It's about how women are depicted in video games and, since gaming is one of my passions, I had a great time writing it!

My Weekly Schedule

As a freelance blogger, I am lucky enough to be able to work from home, and that is really great because I can manage my own schedule and I don't have to do 9-to-5 if I don't want to. However, it's not always easy because working from home also mean there are things in the house you need to take care of, so I wanted to share my everyday routine with you. Since most of the time I do the same tasks every day, I'll list it as a weekly routine.

My Favourite iPad Games

In addition to playing The Sims 4 on my PC, I also love playing games on my iPad. I honestly lost count of how many games I've downloaded and deleted shortly afterwards because I got bored. However, there are a few games that I've been playing for quite a while for which I haven't given up yet. I play them every single day at least once, more if possible, and I really enjoy them.

Business cards are a vital marketing tool for any blogger and not just them. Thing is, there are so many printing services that you don't know where to begin . . . We wanted to have something unique, something that would have the feel of our brand and—thankfully—we came across Aura Print!

My Top 3 Favourite Bands

Who doesn't love music? My taste has definitely changed since my teen years. Back then I was all into boybands, girlbands and exclusively pop music. I still like it, mind me, but I've shifted towards other genres like metal, rock and the likes. If I had to name all of the bands that I like you'd be stuck here for weeks, so I'll be kind and just tell you my absolute three favourites. Come on, follow me.

Betty Crocker's Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix

As you know, I enjoy cooking and baking—though I admit I'm a little more skilled in cooking, rather than baking—and it's no mystery I've used baking mixes before (there is absolutely nothing wrong with that). I bought Betty Crocker's Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix a couple of weeks ago and this past weekend, since I was in baking mood, I decided to give it a try.

Secret Garden Artist's Edition by Johanna Basford

Adult colouring books are becoming more popular every day. Is that because engaging in such activity relaxes us? Sure, but I also think they are a real helper for the spirit. We all have not particularly bright days so, instead of making them worse with our dark mood, why don't add some colour and let it lighten the day?

The Sims 4: Get Together

I'm a huge The Sims fan and have been playing the game since the beginning. I especially love expansions so, when Get Together was released, I looked forward to when I'd be able to buy it.

As it says on TheSims.com website, "Create and join Clubs with distinct interests, personalities, and styles where you can set the rules, define their look, and customize their hangouts. Get together with other Sims for exciting group activities and live it up in the beautiful new World of Windenburg!" and boy, if it's true!

The Rose of Versailles: the most inspirational female anime/manga character - Kettle Article

I grew up reading manga and watching lots of anime, The Rose of Versailles has always been one of my favourites and I was sure (until a few months ago) that it was known by many in different countries. Yet, last summer the Kettle editors were pleased to have my article published about the subject because it seemed my precious Lady Oscar was not well known as I thought . . . So, here's the article I wrote on August 26th, 2015. I'd be curious to now how many of you guys are already familiar with it and, those who are not, if you now would like to either read the manga or watch the anime. Or, why not, do both!

Very British Problems? Oh dear!

Not everyone knows me, so let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am Italian—born and raised—but English has always been part of my life. I had a very strict upbringing, scholarly speaking, and there are people who still get surprised when I tell them that my love affair with this beautiful language began when I was six years old. I know, right?

My goals for 2016

I'm usually not one who makes New Year resolutions, and that is for two reasons: one, I never follow through and two, they're always the same... This year I'll lose weight, I'll go to the gym, I'll finish that novel I started three years ago... Come on, aren't we tired of saying things that deep deep down we know we will never do?
