Aaaand we're back!!
I must say, leaving home for a few weeks is nice from time to time, but boy, you never realise the things you have to do when you come back! For starters, we have been greeted with this . . .
I think our postman was relieved we finally came back, what do you think?
These mails and packages together with almost 400 emails got us busy for quite a while, then it was time to unpack, do laundry (apparently lots of laundry), buy groceries and FINALLY decorate our flat! We usually do that as soon as they switch the Christmas lights on but, since our trip was coming right after that, we decided to postpone the fun.
We have done something different this year, though, my sister is here with us and she has just got her second University degree with a dissertation about Manga and Anime. How cool is that? She is a big fan of all things Japanese and she suggested we had a colourful tree with kawaii ornaments. For those who aren't familiar with it, kawaii is a Japanese term that means cute. Well, we certainly found some cuteness to put on the tree!
But what I personally love the most is what I've done with the shelves around the tree, something I think I won't be able to put away after Christmas!
That is a heart warming view for every book lover, isn't it? ;)
Now we just need to go Christmas shopping and then everything is ready! Well, there's the menu to figure out, but that is Fran's
obsession job and I'm sure we're going to be fine!
What about you? Do you have your Christmas schedule under control?
